The project

This innovative and multi-stakeholder project is supported by the Festin association and coordinated by La Table de Cana. It is deployed as part of a collective action with Racines – a solidarity luggage storage / grocery store -, and the La Cantina association under the supervision of Action Contre La Faim. It aims to provide quality meals to people accommodated in emergency hotels in Marseille. This first test phase from September to December 2023 aims to distribute 10,000 meal baskets.

The association

The objective of the Festin association, created 32 years ago in Marseille, is to, directly or indirectly, facilitate the social and professional integration of people in difficulty usinge the “power of kitchens”. It fulfills this purpose in particular through the creation and management of integration company-type structures, through direct and indirect aid to people in difficulties, and through participation in integration actions carried out in favor of people in difficulty by other organizations with the same objectives.
